This is simply absolutely AMAZING, Tallbeard Studios. Like, this can work for pretty much ANY type of 2D retro game, and no wonder it's one of the most used music assets on itch.io. And because of that, I'm going to be using a few of the tracks from this asset pack for my 2D platformer I'm currently working on in Godot 4.4, Jump Kid! Thanks SO much for this asset pack, and wish me all the best of luck!
Thanks so much! I'm glad that you are finding a use for the songs :) Feel free to send me a link when you get a project out there, I'd love to check it out!
Thank you so much for sharing your music for free! I used your track in my demo Super Robot X (https://gettoshoto.itch.io/super-robot-x ), and it fits the mood perfectly. Your work really helped bring the game to life—much appreciated! 🙌
Heya! I'm so glad to hear it :D Being able to take one hit really changes how this style of game feels. I will say that with your sound effects you are getting some low end rumble and clipping. Especially with the jump and dash sounds. Were they mouth sounds recorded with a microphone? :)
Sound effects are definitely an area that needs improvement. Right now, I'm polishing the gameplay based on the feedback I'm receiving; later, I'll look for a sound effects pack. Yes, I downloaded some, but they sound like they were recorded with a microphone.
it's all good! Just wanted to make sure you were aware. Since I do music, I have nice speakers and I was catching stuff that I figured you may have missed :)
Woah what an incredible tool. I might have to grab that at some point since my art skills definitely do suck ha. I'm glad you like the track, it's a fun one :D
Hey :) I have used your music in a game developed for game jam in 120 minutes. You can bet that the best part of the game was music haha. Here is the link
Ah I love that track, the game you made fits the song's melancholy vibes. I only picked up two packages, but I made it to the end. Was nice to see all the drone's thoughts
So glad that you like the music! I got a bit softlocked in the intro/controls screen because space bar resets the scene (and the audio clip) ... realized I had to be patient and sit through it :) The race is fun! I devised that if you tap shift and space you can kind of bunny hop through the track and save a bit of stamina. :D
Thanks for checking it out, that's exactly what I was going for! I probably should have spent more time on the actual content over the polish but I think your awesome music helps distract people from how short the game is

Heya! Glad you found some songs you like :D
Box Jump is an absolute banger, it is featured on my trailer for the Hero Printer.
Woah what an incredible tool. I might have to grab that at some point since my art skills definitely do suck ha. I'm glad you like the track, it's a fun one :D
Thank you so much, mate! People always compliment the soundtrack for the trailer whenever I post it on social media, it is a great track!

I am definitely going to use it in some future project ;) So thanks for your effort!
Ha this was a fun idea! I got "kinda the same" but my score was under 500 so they still came after me XD
It's a cruel game
Thanks for checking it out!
Hey, just to say I've been a fan of your music for years. I have used it in several of my game jam games. Most recently:
Thanks so much for letting me know! I'm so glad that you are enjoying the songs :)
Thunder Protocol was fun! I got 98 robots in the end.
Ketchup was surprisingly fun too for a little whack-a-mole game. It was fun to try to get combos when they crossed paths, my best score was 5000
Witchery was great! Love how you had to switch between aiming at the cauldron and NOT aiming at it. Took me a moment to figure it out XD
These sound so great! <3
Thanks! Glad you like them :)

Thank you so much for this wonderful work and especially for going above and beyond and making it accessible for everyone!
I used a few of your songs in my entry for gmtk game jam 2025. And your music let me give the game so much more soul. Thank you again!

ha what a great ending. That was fun :D
Used Sanctuary track for my entry to Trijam #333.

Hi! I used the cool track "Go" in my little game "Pan-o-rama" created especially for GMTK Game Jam : ) Thank you very much!

Love the concept of using a 360 degree photo to handle the scrolling background, this is super cool :D
i love your music and i used two of the songs in my game Loop the Laps by theDwarf80
So glad that you like the music! That's so cool that you found that trick thanks for playing :)
Love these tracks! I used a few of them in my last jam game, https://null-builds.itch.io/maximum-voltage
This looks fantastic, especially for the short amount of time you had to make it! Love the chunky 3D stuff, reminds me of Star Fox for the SNES :)
Thanks for checking it out, that's exactly what I was going for! I probably should have spent more time on the actual content over the polish but I think your awesome music helps distract people from how short the game is
very nice!
Amazing! I love it!
Hi I used Penultimate on my small game jam game. https://gx.games/games/avpl6y/glitchbot/
Heck yeah! Glad you found one that works for you. :D
