It was a bit of an experiment in 2024. Partially to keep busy with making a new song every week, but also to come up with a lot of song ideas that I can later expand out into full officially released albums. I've always loved the public domain or royalty-free libraries that Incompetech and others put out and I wanted to contribute to that ecosystem for other creators :)
We used your music once again for our game "Dream Chasers". It's in spanish, but we invite you to try it out anyways. https://kazubaro.itch.io/dream-chasers
Heya, its been a while, but managed to get another game jam done this weekend and your music as usual proved incredibly helpful - https://swatt-officer.itch.io/alien-attack
I honestly am not sure about the balance lol, didn't thouroughly test it! I got to around 700 before the screen got basically completely full of enemies and it just wasnt possible. I imagine the absolute limit is probably around 800.
I feel like the trees get fully grown VERY fast. I couldn't make it to any of them in time :( I really love the concept though! Having everything rotate around the planet is a cool idea :)
I definitely want to work on this more, but I've been busy with other music projects. If you wanted to more music, I do have like 80 released albums. As long as you own the album, you have my permission to use it in your projects :)
This is a super cool idea! Reminds me of a game I used to play ages ago called S.P.A.Z... I think? Can build a ship and then run amok against enemies :)
And for my main game I'm currently developing as a music for background, until I learn to make something good myself one day : ) https://madtricks.itch.io/10yearcity
The variety of music in these bundles is amazing! I went through every one of them looking for the vibes I wanted to create with my recent game, and there was something for just about everything that I wanted music for. Thank you very much, and I do not doubt that I'll want to use some of this music in my future projects too!
If you'd like to see what I recently made using some of your music, you can check it out for free here:
So glad to hear it! The game looks great; I'll try to find some time this weekend to give it a shot :) I was reading through your postmortem and I really enjoy C# over GDScript, but I come from a background in Unity, so I'm far more familiar with the language. Best of luck with future games! I hope the music finds its way into more of your projects.
This is fantastic! I love the idea. Was fun to play a few rounds. Though i think the upgrade costs don't increase in point cost when you buy them? It said it cost 200, but only deducted 100 points. Maybe I just was doing math wrong :)
That's a fun game! My main strategy was to get a grip of 3 healing potions and just play whatever spell shows up in the 4th slot every turn. it worked pretty good! :)
Hi! We have used some of your tracks in our game Lovers Paranoia (Demo). Thank you for creating these amazing tracks! Enjoyed it while creating the game.
Heya! I'm glad that you liked the songs! I'll have to check out the demo, looking at the comments it seems like you got a lot of positive feedback on it :)
I used two of your tracks in my first ever game for a Horror Game Jam. If you end up trying it out, I'd love some feedback. Also, your track listing here is just amazing in general. I plan to use more tracks soon.
Heya! The game was very good! Robust for a first ever game :) Didn't expect voice acting and everything. Definitely got some creepy vibes going on, you did a good job making the player feel helpless in the car. The voice acting and animations helped sell that!
I'm glad that you liked the music too! Hope to see more of the things you make in the future!

Tallbeard’s music assets are amazing, 41 tracks full of variety and drama. Truly inspiring work!
Appreciate the comment! There's way more than 41 tracks too. The ZIP files probably contain over 150 songs :)
Wait, 150 songs? I just unlocked the musical equivalent of a hidden dungeon. Time to grind.
These are so lovely Tallbeard!
Glad you like them, hope they help in your projects! Also, as someone who writes music under the name Abstraction, I like your name :)

Heya, its been a while, but managed to get another game jam done this weekend and your music as usual proved incredibly helpful - https://swatt-officer.itch.io/alien-attack
I'm glad the music worked for you! My score was 532, which might be good? I don't know :)
I honestly am not sure about the balance lol, didn't thouroughly test it! I got to around 700 before the screen got basically completely full of enemies and it just wasnt possible. I imagine the absolute limit is probably around 800.
All of the songs are awesome! Good job! I used a few of them in a game jam game: https://guillaumepayet.itch.io/tiny-world-gardening

Hi! Once again I used one of your wonderful tunes in my new 1-bit game!
https://coppersoft.itch.io/no-time-to-escape
Thank you!!!
I'm so bad at these hopping games haha. I like the "bye bye" when you finish a level :D
Ahaha!! :-D Sometimes a "self produced" audio asset! :-D
Yo! Used couple of your tunes in my game https://rottentech.itch.io/jump-tumble-fall Thanks! They work great!
Glad to hear it! The youtube video you shared on the game page is great. Love the art you have! Seems very stressful to play 😅

Hi! Great work mate!
I have used this music recently on couple of projects. One was for a game jam:
https://madtricks.itch.io/lavamanager
And for my main game I'm currently developing as a music for background, until I learn to make something good myself one day : )
https://madtricks.itch.io/10yearcity
LavaManager gets tough really fast! It's fun though. All the villagers kept running right into the lava ha. I do like they all had unique names
I kind of ran out of time to dig into 10 Year City, but I really like the pixel art you have for it. Seems like an interesting puzzle!
Great music!

Just wanted to say thanks for the awesome music! I used a couple tracks in my recent project: https://miles-sullivan.itch.io/peace-for-the-planets
This is really cool! I didn't have too much time to dive into it, but it's such a neat idea to create a diplomacy simulator with that framework :)
Thank you. I think the music ended up fitting pretty well with the vibe I was going for ;)
A few of these tracks are used in my game, Robo Rolo. Thanks for making them available!

Sounds good! I hope you find some tracks that fit well :) Good luck with the development!
So cool! I'll add it in my game, Dungeon Cards :D
That's a fun game! My main strategy was to get a grip of 3 healing potions and just play whatever spell shows up in the 4th slot every turn. it worked pretty good! :)
Thank you! Did you try the different themes? Your music is the battle music of the 2000s theme! (just type 00s in the password option :D)
