Hey! I used one of your track in my game for the Kenney Jam, thank you so much for creating these!

If you wanna see the game itself ^^ : https://kaytomasu.itch.io/steal-and-go

Hey that looks great! I'll put it on my list to download and give a try :) Thanks for using the music! Always glad to see what people do with it

(1 edit)

Hey, I used some of your tracks. Hope that's ok. You did a great work :D

(+1)

Of course it's ok! That's why I put 'em online :) This is a great game concept!

Can't stop using your music in my game jam games, it's so awesome!

Hi! Thank you for uploading these songs on itch.io! We love them and we are using one of them in our game.

Thank you and keep uploading them, please ^^

I'm glad you like the music! The pixel art in this looks fantastic :)

这个音乐太好了!!!!!

Hello! Thank you for making these available.
I found a couple of tracks that I really enjoyed and added them to my (still in very early development) game.

I'm still learning Unity and programming in general and having assets like these available to use is really useful.

Thank you again and I hope to comeback for more great music and support your efforts.

Hey this is a fantastic first project! I like the idea of making the blocks hexagons instead for fun bounces. Best of luck in your game development journey, feel free to reply to this thread with updates if you want to share with someone :)

Thank you! ^^
I'll certainly come back and keep you updated.

Hello again!
I've made a lot of progress and released v1.0.0 of Arkavoid.
Thank you again so much, having artists like you making assets available really helped giving character to my game!

It's great to see this come together! Looking forward to what you work on next :)

One things i wondered about,

I find files I appreciate, but dont necessarily have a use for at the moment.

In cases like that i would gladly consider donating 1$ or 2.50$,

but in cases like this, it seems the minimum price is 5$.

While there are buttons to Support the Artist on the bottom,

of 1, 2 or 3$...

I 'am not sure if you know this, as i didn't at first,

but clicking the 1$ button on a 5$ file, simply changes the price to 5.99.

Or the 3$ button makes it 7.99$.

I was wondering if you would consider making a smaller price,

such as for somebody who might only need 10 or 20 tracks (1 of the four packs),

but then set the alternate price as 5$ for those who love and plan to use the whole set.

Again, I could be wrong, maybe then instead of selling 25 packs a month for 5$, you would just sell 25 packs for 2$, in which case ignore this comment completely.

Heya! I think the $5 is the suggested price, you should be able to put in whatever value you want :)

Hi, an immpressive collection,

As a character design, sound effect, and pixel art creator,

I too have spent many an 8 hour day sorting

through files to make just the right collection.

Listening through dozens of sounds before saving the

Prototype "footstep", looping "forest Rain with Thunder" file,

or "shotgun hitting a wall" sound.

It shows how much effort you've put in.

Your titles will be the 1st i will include when setting up my own game,

and you can bet i shall contribute and give full credit as soon as that occurs

(I keep my word, it will occur)

I made sure to save the archives with your studio Name :)

Also, in case others, like me sometimes, go on file collecting sprees,

i dont think it would be at all egotistic or improper to put your studio name or your own title (Like Abstraction) in the title of your archives.

Personally, i dont always have the time right away to go through all the files at once. So i have a very real fear of finding a good resource, begin using it,  only to realize nowhere in the file does it list the name and where i can go for more...

I sincerely hope there aren't people who go around looking up game files, then contacting the creators, pretending to be the image/audio artist, only to blackmail them for a payout.

Its me again! Another game jam, but a much smaller scope game this time - a little puzzle game where you balance a nuclear reactor! https://swatt-officer.itch.io/meltdown

The only issue with these jams is that i want to remake the games with the full scope i originally envisioned XD

Interesting idea! I like how the pieces interlink so well with the mechanics!

I cant take full credit for the mechanics, its all heavily inspired by a mechanic from a minecraft mod of all things, but im glad i got it functioning!

ehey! i recently have been interested into your music, so i used it as my main BGM set for the entire Time Will Travel series! you can take a look at it here, no pressure of course.

Heya! Don't have time to play it right now, but the art in the screenshots looks great! I'm glad you are enjoying the music :)

(1 edit) (+1)

Hey! I use one of the music loops you created for my game menu screen
here

Click here for free version

Ha this is great, I love the art style you've got going on with this :)

(1 edit)

I used some of your music for the ScoreSpace Jam #30 and it definitely established the cozy mood and was a huge help for me! Still waiting for voting to finish but fingers crossed! https://voidstormm.itch.io/arise Keep up the good work!

Hey this is great! I've been learning how to make a little twin stick shooter myself. It's a lot tougher than I expected :) I only made it to 5800 feet because of those little guys haha

Hey! I made a small game project with some of your musics. Thanks for the awesome work!

In case you wanna check it out: https://douglasrbto.itch.io/knightly-survival

This is fantastic! I love the art style. I wish I could just hold the mouse down to attack though XD

(+2)

Tonight I'll update it so you will can! Thanks for the suggestion!

Good luck :D

(+1)

Its me again :D Decided to join a jam and threw together this game in just 72 hours! Your music made all the difference in making the game feel hectic and active! https://swatt-officer.itch.io/last-light

Wow this is fantastic! One thing I'd suggest is adding some kind of indicator (or passive upgrade) that points to the closest torch. I definitely struggled to find ones that were lit sometimes.

A million years ago I started a game called Darkness Sleeps which is kind of the opposite of your idea. If you move into the darkness you plant a torch and too much light summons the final boss faster. I should get back to that some day :) https://twitter.com/ben_burnes/status/1557856229824704512

Definitely want to upgrade it after the jam is over! Some sort of torch indicator is a great idea - low visibility is by design, but maybe i could have a small trail of light or something!

Darkness sleeps looks pretty cool, you definitely should continue it sometime :)

Yeah some kind of light trail would be neat, though i'm not sure how you'd do that :) Best of luck with further updates to the game!

Thanks for the kind words on Darkness Sleeps. Definitely something I want to get back to.

(+1)

Well, i already draw a line from one node to another (player to enemy for the ray weapon), so drawing a line from player to nearest torch would actually be super simple! The challenge would be making it a fancier trail rather than just a line, but im sure theres something i could tinker with!

Sounds like you got it figured out! Not sure how you're making your lights, but maybe you could throw that same thing into a particle system or something for the trails? I dunno :) Best of luck!

Heya! Used one of these great tracks in my first ever game - https://swatt-officer.itch.io/knightsurvive

Great quality tracks, will almost certainly use them for more projects in the future!

Hey congrats on releasing a game! :D I dig the game, it definitely gets tough when more stuff starts flying around. My high score was 56 😅

(1 edit)

Yeah, its set to slowly but exponentially decrease the shooting delay and increase the speed of the enemy movement, so it starts deceptively simple and builds to impossible XD Probably would need to tweak some values to get the balance into a sweet spot.

I mean, it's an arcade game, you aren't supposed to win :) If it's fun then you're doing things right!

Hi really big thanks for letting us use your music!
i used it in this Project: (playable in browser)
https://ollibanjo.itch.io/deep-dive-pro

This is great! I love the art style it's very clean. I had some trouble jumping back onto the boat sometimes, but overall it definitely was tense trying to get back up to the surface with your air running out

Hello, it is not a itch game but I used one of your song for a small game jam game ^^
https://turbowarp.org/1030815097?fps=60&clones=Infinity&offscreen&limitless&hqpe...

This is fantastic. Love the ide of using Waldo as a cursor in a "find the object" game. Glad to hear the new songs are already getting use :)

Awesome tracks :)

I used them in my game (Cat adventure): https://ilovelampadaire.itch.io/cat-adventure

Thanks you so much for posting these songs i like them a lot :)

I saw the screenshots you provided and went "Oh someone is learning Godot from Brackey's tutorials!" I am just starting my first Godot project today too! Finally going to try to ditch Unity :) Glad you like the songs!

(+1)

Thank you for the great tracks!
Just wanted to give you a heads-up that I'd like to use your amazing music in another project of mine. It's an adult game,  the first game I ever developed which I now got back to remastering. As part of the remastering, I'm adding music to the game. (I'll throw in a donation your way once I get the first copy of my remastered game sold!) :)

(+1)

Heya! Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you're enjoying the songs :)

Hey!

Firstly wanna say thank you so much this audio pack is fantastic and you are so talented!

We used your music to make our final project in college, Chimera! You can check out the game for yourself here: https://critterknitter.itch.io/chimera

Heya! This sounds like a fantastic concept, seeing the post-apocalypse through the eyes of a dog. I'll try to find some time to give it a play. :)

(+1)

Hello,

I have used the sound sources distributed on itch.io to create a game.

thank you for letting me use the wonderful sound sources.

You're welcome!  Glad you like the music :)

(+1)

I have completed version 3.0 of the World Community Games, which includes this game. If you would like to play it, I will send you the download URL for the game data. Please let me know via direct message on social media!

(+1)

Thank you! I love this!

If I use it in a videogame I'll let you know :)

So happy to hear it! Hope you get tons of good use out of it :)

I used your music for another one of my game jam submissions. You're the best!!

https://nickbdawg.itch.io/bulbys-afraid-of-the-dark

This is fantastic, I like the art style a lot :D

Hi! I used your wonderful music in my entry for the 1-bit game jam #3!

https://coppersoft.itch.io/a-block-evolving

Thank you!!!

This is a great one, i really like the puzzles you put together, definitely had to think on some of them :)

(+1)

We used this in our first game and game jam, thanks for making these!
https://regalus27.itch.io/blacksmith-platformer

(+1)

That's fantastic, congrats on the release! I love how double jumping is you throwing your hammer down, that's a great touch. You got some tough levels in here but I made it to the end! :)

(+1)

I'm glad you liked it, thanks for playing. :)

Hi there, I just wanted to say thanks for producing these wonderful tracks and making them available for us to use. I have used several tracks from this collection in my free to play NaNoRenO visual novel submission Re: Calling Amber. Definitely will use more in the future as well.!

Hey awesome! It's great to hear you dig the music :) I haven't heard of NaNoRenO before but that's such a great premise! I do the NaSoAlMo (Solo Album in a month) every November so I know those timed challenges really get you moving :) I can't imagine writing a whole visual novel in a month, sounds like so much work!

Awesome asset I'm still unsure how you got sample audio to be displayed in such a way, and suggestions ?

(+1)

Heya, I used the Scritch Editor to put together the playlist :)

(+1)

Cool, thank you very much I always wondered about them :D  Awesome samples btw!

(+1)

Yeah, it's a great tool. Takes a bit to fully understand how it works, but I like how flexible it is in presenting the music. And thanks for the kind words on the music.

(+1)

Thanks for the Music! I used one song in my game "Duck Side Down".

Super cool idea with the flipping to add depth to the puzzles. I dig it :D

(+1)

Amazing work! I used a couple of these in my game :)

Read the PDF included in the game download. Really good writing! I'll have to check out the game when I have a few minutes :)

(+1)

amazing , may i use them in my top down pixel game?
Ill make sure to give you the credits in the credits section.

Hi! Yes, you absolutely can use these songs! I appreciate including me in the credits too. Would love to see your game when it gets released too :)

(+1)

Phenomenal!
you are talented!

Thanks for your great music, soundtracks!
i will let you know when i use them in a game!

Thank you! I'm glad you like the songs, hope you get some good use out of them :)

(1 edit) (-1)

Hey, great collection, thanks! This just saved the bg music for an experimental AI video I made! I used the Patreon Challenge - 02 song. Great music overall, I enjoyed listening to the pack! (you're in the credits at the end)

Glad you like the tracks. I haven't followed it very closely, but it's pretty wild how far this image/video generation has come in the past few years.

(+1)

I am going to use this in my game as the soundtrack for it because I like it as in I like what i have heard of it so far sounds like they would suit different games.

I'm really glad that you're enjoying the songs! Hope you get a lot of good use out of them :)

(+1)

I most certainly will do be getting a lot of use out of these for my games and it will be interesting to see when you post more assets like this music because i will be getting them and putting them to good use.

That's great to hear! I'm still figuring out a plan for updating the pack. I'm thinking once a month? I have a new one to post, but I don't want to just do one at a time :)

Thanks for making this music, I really like it and used it for my recent game jam submission: https://nickbdawg.itch.io/pandamonium-at-the-great-door

Love the art you have for this! Looks like you got a lot done for a game jam. I explored quite a few rooms, boy they get tough! haha

Hi! I wanted to drop by to let you know that I used some of these songs in my entry to the Godot Wild Jam recently.

I have nothing but insane respect for folks who make assets available like this because my jam entry would suck without them. The least I can do is pop by and say thanks for the awesome songs!

(+1)

this is a fantastic little jam. It's really hard! I only got like 5 meters up haha

So glad you enjoy the music! Hope it helps with future projects too :)

Thanks for the great music, I used a track in my game: https://noc7c9.itch.io/bi-matter-annihilator

Cheers!

What a fantastic game idea! Man, for such a simple mechanic that gets tough really fast :) I scored like 22

(+1)

Haha 22 is great! It’s a game that can get intense quick that’s for sure. Thanks for playing, and thanks again for the music, really sets the mood. :D

(+1)

Great songs man ;)

Thanks! Hope you get some good use out of them :)

Used your songs in my jam submission
These are great, thanks so much :D

(+1)

That's a cool concept! I think I got around 100 points :D

Where is the file download? Seems it just plays in the browser for some reason.

OH! Sorry I switched to the Scritch player yesterday and I wasn't aware that the HTML ZIP file wasn't downloadable. I added a downloadable file with all the songs.
